Turkey visa for Saudi residents

Whether you need a visa for Türkiye depends on your passport nationality, not only your Saudi residence.

If you hold a valid visa or residence permit from a Schengen country, the USA, the UK or Ireland, you can usually apply online for a single-entry Türkiye e-Visa at evisa.gov.tr. Otherwise you apply for a sticker visa through the Turkish mission and its visa application centre. Requirements change, so confirm the current checklist before you apply - we send the hotel confirmations and itinerary letter your application needs.

Getting there

Flights from Riyadh to Istanbul

Turkish Airlines and Saudia fly non-stop from Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam to Istanbul, roughly five to six hours in the air, with several departures a day between them.

Book the flight that suits you and send us the details: your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board, and we track the flight so a delay never means a missed pickup.

Best time to go: April to June and September to October bring mild weather and thinner crowds. July and August are hot and busy; December to March is quieter and cheaper, with snow in Cappadocia.

Good to know

Your questions,
answered.

How much does a Turkey tour cost from Saudi Arabia?

Our Turkey packages start from the per-person price on this page (two travellers sharing a room), shown in riyals at the live rate from our euro price. It includes hotels, daily breakfast, airport transfers, guided touring, entrance fees and any domestic flights in the itinerary. Flights from Saudi Arabia and your visa are separate.

Do Saudi residents need a visa for Turkey?

It depends on your passport. Türkiye runs a conditional e-Visa: holders of a valid visa or residence permit from a Schengen country, the USA, the UK or Ireland can usually apply online at evisa.gov.tr, and some nationalities qualify in their own right. Everyone else applies for a sticker visa. Check evisa.gov.tr for your nationality, or ask us and we will point you to the right route.

Is there a direct flight from Saudi Arabia to Istanbul?

Yes. Turkish Airlines and Saudia operate non-stop flights from Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam to Istanbul, around five to six hours.

Are flights included in the package?

No. Package prices cover everything inside Türkiye. You book your flight to Istanbul separately and we arrange your airport pickup around it.

Is halal food easy to find in Turkey?

Yes. Türkiye is a Muslim-majority country and the food is overwhelmingly halal, with mosques at or near the major sights, so prayer times are easy to keep while touring.
