Turkey visa for Indian passport holders

Indian passport holders need a visa to visit Türkiye.

If you hold a valid visa or residence permit from a Schengen country, the USA, the UK or Ireland, you can usually apply online for a single-entry Türkiye e-Visa at evisa.gov.tr. Otherwise you apply for a sticker visa through the Turkish mission and its visa application centre. Requirements change, so confirm the current checklist before you apply - we send the hotel confirmations and itinerary letter your application needs.

Flights from Delhi to Istanbul

Turkish Airlines and IndiGo fly non-stop from Delhi and Mumbai to Istanbul, roughly eight hours in the air, with onward IndiGo and Turkish service from other metros. One-stop routes via the Gulf hubs are the common cheaper alternative.

Book the flight that suits you and send us the details: your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board, and we track the flight so a delay never means a missed pickup.

Best time to go: April to June and September to October bring mild weather and thinner crowds. July and August are hot and busy; December to March is quieter and cheaper, with snow in Cappadocia.

How much does a Turkey tour cost from India?

Our ready-made Turkey packages start from the per-person price shown on this page (two travellers sharing a room), converted to rupees from our euro price at the live rate. That covers hotels, daily breakfast, airport transfers, guided touring, entrance fees and any domestic flights in the itinerary. Budget separately for your return flight from India, your visa fee and personal spending.

Do Indian citizens need a visa for Turkey?

Yes. If you hold a valid visa or residence permit from a Schengen country, the USA, the UK or Ireland, you can usually apply online for a single-entry e-Visa at evisa.gov.tr. Otherwise you apply for a sticker visa through the Turkish consulate and its visa application centre. Confirm the current requirements before you apply.

Is there a direct flight from India to Istanbul?

Yes. Turkish Airlines and IndiGo operate non-stop flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Istanbul, around eight hours. One-stop options via Dubai, Doha or Abu Dhabi are also widely available and can be cheaper in some seasons.

Are international flights included in the package?

No. Package prices cover everything inside Türkiye. You book your India to Istanbul flight separately, so you can choose the airline, dates and fare that suit you. We arrange your airport pickup around whatever flight you take.

Is vegetarian and halal food easy to find in Turkey?

Both are easy. Turkish cuisine has a wide range of vegetarian meze, breads and salads, and most meat served is halal. Tell us any dietary needs when you book and we will brief your guide and hotels.
